\nPumpkin is a natural source of dietary fibre and can be used to complement homemade cat food. Fibre plays an important role in normal digestion by helping to regulate stool consistency and supporting the natural movement of food through the digestive tract.

\nAs fibre passes through the intestine, it absorbs water and adds bulk to the stool. This can help maintain a softer stool consistency when stools are too firm. At the same time, fibre can bind excess water in the digestive tract, which may help support firmer stools when they are too loose.

\nBecause fibre is not fully digested, it continues through the digestive tract and reaches the colon. There, it helps regulate the amount of water and bulk in the intestinal contents, supporting normal bowel function.

<\/strong>\nPumpkin powder as a convenient alternative to fresh pumpkin<\/strong>
\nFresh pumpkin can be a useful source of fibre, but it is not always available or convenient to prepare. Pumpkin powder provides an easy way to add pumpkin fibre to homemade cat food.

\nPure Hokkaido pumpkin powder is made from carefully selected pumpkin, gently cooked and freeze-dried to preserve its natural nutrients. Before adding it to your cat\u2019s food, mix it with water to allow the fibre to absorb moisture. It contains no preservatives, fillers, or unnecessary additives.

\nRecommended use<\/strong>
\n\nAdd pumpkin powder according to your recipe or feeding instructions. As a general guideline, pumpkin powder can make up approximately 3\u20135% of the daily food amount. Introduce fibre gradually and monitor your cat\u2019s individual response, as increasing fibre too quickly may affect stool consistency.
